From the Redditch Advertiser, first published Monday 25th Sep 2006.

NATURE lovers in the Alcester area can now go online to find out all about natural history events being held in and around Warwickshire.

The Warwickshire Researching, Recording and Recreation in Nature's (RINGs) newsletter, produced by Warwickshire Museum, is a unique directory giving details on nearly 500 forthcoming natural history events in the area.

It also provides information on more than 60 local groups.

Senior keeper of natural history Steven Falk said: "This is a unique directory which Warwickshire County Council is keen to make available to as many people as possible."

He said there was something for nature lovers of all ages, abilities and interests from studies on moths to details about country walks.

The newsletter can be downloaded at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/rings or for a printed copy, call Steven Falk on 01926 412481.
