Festive treats up for grabs at fair

From the Kidderminster Shuttle, first published Wednesday 21st Nov 2007.

SANTA'S reindeer can look forward to a tasty Christmas as pupils mix up a festive feast.

Youngsters at Blakedown CE Primary School, Birmingham Road, have been putting together reindeer food made from a special secret recipe.

Bags of feed will be on sale during the school's annual grand Christmas fair, organised by the PTA, to scatter on the lawn or leave outside the front door, ready for when Father Christmas arrives.

Last year, volunteer parents and youngsters running the stalls raised more than £700 for Blakedown primary.

All money raised from the event, which runs from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, will go towards improving the library.
